Daniel Kennedy is a Senior Project Manager and Professional Engineer with 20 years of experience in design, underwater inspection and management of waterfront, port and offshore engineering projects.  Mr. Kennedy has worked internationally as the Head of the Ports and Terminals group for a multi-disciplinary engineering firm, where his role included the responsibility of managing the design and construction of a new island. Mr. Kennedy is knowledgeable in the development of detailed design packages and time/cost estimates for a wide range of permanent marine related structures.  His design capabilities are complimented with extensive experience in site construction phase services including managing and directing site teams responsible for, dredging reclamation and ground improvement, material inspection and testing, rock works, concrete and steel construction, construction of floating structures, piling driving, retaining structures and structural rehabilitation. Prior to joining Diamond Offshore Wind, Mr. Kennedy served as the Ports Manager for the development of the first utility scale wind farm in the US. He is currently the Foundation Package Manager for the development of the New England Aqua Ventus project, for deploying the first offshore floating wind turbine in the US using UMaine’s VolturnUS hull technology.
