Julia joined Equinor in 2020 after spending some time in consulting and federal government working on offshore wind within the US. This experience included permitting work on a number of US offshore wind projects as well as time spent working for the U.S. Coast Guard in waterways management within the First District. At Equinor, Julia is focused on permitting for both the Empire Wind and Beacon Wind projects along with a global portfolio of marine affairs responsibilities and business development of floating projects. Prior to working in offshore wind, Julia spent five years working in international development for the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Julia has a Masters of Environmental Management with a focus on Coastal Environmental Management from Duke University.
